The Spring Loaded Airsoft Gun

A good example of a spring loaded airsoft gun that fires a single shot comes in the form of airsoft sniper rifles. Though not terribly adept for combat situations, many enthusiasts choose this type of weapon when taking on stationary positions during a round. The mechanics of a spring loaded sniper rifle require one to be rather dexterous. This type of weapon will also be chosen as a way to introduce beginners to the workings of airsoft weapons. Once an individual gets their ability to aim under control, he or she can then move on to gas or electric powered airsoft guns.

Whether one is opting for Echo 1 airsoft guns or some other brand, safety will still be of utmost importance with a spring loaded weapon. Some may make the mistake of thinking a weapon that does not have full automatic firepower is somehow too weak to do much damage. However, nothing could be futher from the truth. A spring loaded weapon can shoot a plastic pellet at approximately three hundred feet per second.

Operators of airsoft guns should always wear protective gear including protective eyewear. The barrel should be kept pointed away from others and the finger left off the trigger until a target has been clearly identified.
