San Diego Golf Academy’s Three Tips to Better Golf
By Conus on Jun 19, 2008 in Sports
The San Diego Golf Academy wants everyone, not only their students, to enjoy the exciting sport of golf. After all, golf is their passion! So, they have compiled a quick list of three tips to help you golf beginners play better and enjoy your time on the course.
1). Keep your head still. Do NOT move your head. This cannot be stressed enough how important this is. By keeping your head still, you create the foundation of keeping your balance. Keep your head still and focus on the ball.
2). Relax. Do not tense up. Do not “white-knuckle” the club. Keep loose. Relaxing your muscles will help you play better. Remember, golf is fun, not stressful!
3). Do not hit the ball too hard. Sounds strange, doesn’t it? But when you are just beginning to play golf, a hard swing does not mean an accurate swing. So, you want to focus on a correct swing, rather than a hard swing.
These three golf instruction tips lead up to one thing: balance. If you do not keep your balance during your entire swing, your stroke will suffer. So, concentrate on your balance and watch your game and your golf career improve.
