Collecting Information about a Golf Career

Golf isn’t really the most fashionable of sports. Until Tiger Woods came along and brought golf more into the mainstream of sports watched by youth viewers, it was primarily a game played and loved by men in the business world. However, as more attention has turned to the sport, there’s been an increase in the interest of young people in the possibility of a pro golf career.
The best way to get started on a golf career from a young age is to collect as much information as possible about the sport. Just like kids collect baseball cards and basketball players’ autographs, they are beginning to archive information in their own personal files about the ways in which golf can lead to athletic (and financial success). Kids collect statistics, biographical information and game-playing techniques along with a little bit of golf memorabilia.
One area of such youthful information collecting that tends to get ignored, though, is information about golf college. Not too many sports are associated with college (football and basketball being major exceptions) so kids don’t realize that there are actually schools out there designed specifically to give them additional information and skills about turning their interest in the sport into a career.
