My Sister’s Supra
By swan480 on Jul 21, 2008 in Automotive
My sister was always a fan of the Toyota Supra. Her first car was a 1986 ½ Supra — the half because halfway through the year, they changed to the new body style and the larger 3.0 inline six-cylinder engine. She loved that car — but unfortunately it was her high school and college car, so it took a pretty good beating.
A few years ago, she decided it was time to upgrade. Of course, she knew she wanted another Supra — just, this time, a newer one. She hunted and hunted for a Supra at a good price and with good mileage, and finally bought a 1997 Toyota Supra from someone in Maryland — more than halfway across the country from us.
Her new car is absolutely fantastic — well worth the time and hassle of finding the perfect car. It has aftermarket wheels and plenty of chrome accessories. The car has those crystal blue headlights and fog lights. The car has some really high tech auto accessories, such as exhaust and a cold air intake — which reduces the amount of resistance and makes it easier for the engine to "breathe," thereby increasing horsepower.
My sister now has another car as a daily driver, but the Supra is — and always will be — her baby!
